About

APNET Summer Camp

The APNET Summer Camp is a comprehensive program designed to empower high school students, college students, and young professionals. Through a series of workshops, sessions, and community events, participants will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experiences to enhance their personal and professional development. The cost of the program is FREE.

Participating students will receive a gift card upon completion of the program. Drinks/snacks/lunch will be provided by APNET during all sessions. If under 18, the application must be completed by a parent or guardian.

Overview of the Youth Summer Program

Gain financial education and career development insights.

Develop cultural competence and navigate cultural transitions.

Enhance behavior development and mental health awareness.

Learn about investing for the future and preparing for an AI-driven world.

Engage in networking opportunities with peers and professionals. ​

Participate in community events like the APNET Soccer event and AfriFest: Taste of Africa.

  • Session 2 [1PM-3PM]: Gaming for Kids, Social Media, and Preparing for an AI World

Series B

July 6: 10:00AM – 3:00PM

  • Session 3 [10AM-12PM]: Financial Success/Education
  • Lunch [12PM-1PM] provided by APNET
  • Session 4 [1PM-3PM]: Investing for Your Future

Series C

July 27: 10:00AM – 3:00PM

  • Session 5 [10AM-12PM]: Cultural Conflict (Culture Transition)
  • Lunch [12PM-1PM] provided by APNET
  • Session 6 [1PM-3PM]: Behavior Development and Mental Health
